Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Friday that the UK Prime Minister David Cameron looks like a child who swears out of fear.
Larijani
who was speaking in reaction to Cameron’s statements which followed right after
his meeting with the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in the sidelines of the UNGA,
said that Cameron’s talk has been weird.
"Especially
in regard to Iran in which his speech contained some sort of arrogance, issuing
orders that Iran should do this and that. One has to tell him what authority he
has to talk like that,” he said.
He
added "Your behavior resembles a child’s who cries and sometimes swears out of
fear. You are scared of the terrorist current and you cry; but your cry is not
one of arrogance, arrogance is there only on the surface, but the bottom is
fear.”
So
you are in need to fight terrorists today, but you cannot sell your need to us
as privilege, he noted.
"Instead of admitting to their past mistakes, in the years
gone by they have helped terrorists. No they want to remove those mistakes, but
they use a language which will not lead there,” the Iranian Majlis speaker
asserted.
