Tuesday, 04 May 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced 20,150 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson, Sima Lari, announced on Tuesday that 20,150 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours.
“20,150 COVID-19 infections and 344 deaths due to the disease in the past 24 hours” Lari said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to more than 2,575,737.”
She went on to say that “344 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll to 73,219.”
“Of the new cases detected over the past 24 hours, 2,985 patients have been admitted to the hospital,” she added.
“5,477 individuals are experiencing critical conditions while 2,022,586 have already gained recovery,” she said while saying “So far 108, 3138 people have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far while the total vaccine jabs have hit 1,314,641.”
