Sunday, 02 May 2021 (YJC)_The Iranian president said that the preparation and supply of anti-Covid-19 vaccines is the main priority for the Iran’s Government.
In his remarks during the 222nd session of gov't Economic Coordination Headquarters, The Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani said that the preparation and supply of anti-Covid-19 vaccines is the main priority for the Iran’s Government.
At first, he insisted on the issue of supplying foreign currencies necessary to purchase and import anti-Covid 19 vaccines from abroad.
Iranian President also called on the people to observe the health guidelines amid the Covid-19 pandemic and said his administration has considered producing and supplying vaccines as a top priority.
Among the topic discussed during the meeting were “Speeding up the domestic production or imports of vaccines, coordinating the efforts between various apparatuses inside the country as well as the Iranian missions abroad to facilitate the import, using the capacity of the Ministry of Health to import vaccines and accelerating the supply of foreign currency and rial equivalent by the Central Bank for that purpose.”
