Wednesday, 21 April 2021 (YJC)_Iranian President insisted on full implementation of JCPOA and said Iran does not want JCPOA+.
In his remarks during the cabinet session on Wednesday, Iranian President, Hasan Rouhani insisted on full implementation of JCPOA and said Iran does not want JCPOA+.
“The full implementation of the JCPOA is the only solution to Iran’s nuclear issue and that is clear to all parties to the deal,” Rouhani said.
Elsewhere in his remarks he said “The implementation of the word by word of the text of the JCPOA is what Iran demands,” while adding that “The first step must be taken by the Americans in terms of listing all sanctions.”
“The verification of the US measures will be done in a short time by us. Last step would be our returning to the JCPOA which we’d perform it immediately after lifting sanctions,” he said.
Finally, he expressed hope that in the next steps, Iran fully witnesses the honesty, seriousness of the P5 +1 in resolving the issues.
