Tuesday, 06 April 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Government Spokesman said that there will be no talks between Iran and the US.
In his press conference on Tuesday, the Iranian Government Spokesman, Ali Rabiei said that there will be no talks between Iran and the US.
“A new chapter in the process of defeating coercion and reviving the JCPOA is what we are witnessing today. The US took the wrong path during the Trump administration, and now they admit the maximum pressure has failed that there is no choice but to revive the JCPOA and get all parties back to their commitments,” Rabiei said.
He went on to say that “Had not we stood up the Trump regime and their internal and external pressures, this success would never have been achieved.”
Elsewhere in his remark Rabiei said that today Iran is sure that in the near future the US woul have no choice other than end these lawless conducts and its unilateral sanctions and said “The Vienna meeting, which will take place today, is an opportunity for all parties to exchange views on how and when to return to the JCPOA commitments.”
“As has been said many times, no negotiations will take place between the representatives of Iran and the United States,” he said while adding that “We are ready to convey the message to the participants of the JCPOA that in case of lifting the sanctions and implementing Resolution 2231, Iran is also mutually ready to return to fulfilling all the obligations as soon as possible.”
