Several people, including a police officer, have reportedly been killed in a shooting incident in a shopping mall in the US city of Boulder, Colorado.
Local police forces, as well as FBI officers, have been dispatched to the scene to respond to the armed and dangerous individual.
The bloodied shooter has been apprehended. However, the police have issued a shelter in place order, urging the residents to avoid the area.
There’s no immediate information on the shooter’s identity or motive.
The United States loses around 33,000 people to gun violence every year. Additionally, more than 100,000 people are shot each year in the country.
