Tuesday, 16 March 2021 (YJC)_ Government Spokesman said the Islamic Republic has been triumphant in warding off the United States’ vicious plots.
In his remarks during the last press conference of the current Iranian year (ends on March 20) on Tuesday, Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei praised Iranian resistance and said the Islamic Republic has been sucessful in warding off the United States’ vicious plots.
pointing the challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic and the US’ economic terrorism, he said “The US has failed to isolate Iran. Moreover, we managed to lead Washington to moral isolation in the international arena as it is evident in the sessions of the UN General Assembly and the International Court of Justice in The Hague."
"The effects of sanctions and the economic war reached their peak this year,” Rabiei said while noting that the government and the people have had a relatively difficult year.
“we are aware of the fact that economic war and its association with the coronavirus pandemic has put a great deal of pressure on many people and we are doing our best to alleviate such challenges as much as possible.”
He stressed that the government has done everything in its power to counter the impacts of COVID-19, and added “We can say that all the efforts of the ill-wishers who sought the collapse the Iranian establishment and the destruction of people's lives are coming to an end.”
Finally, he said “Surely in the coming months, the US government will have no choice but to submit to the global peace process and end pressure on Iran.”
