Sunday, 14 March 2021 (YJC) _ The chief commander of IRGC praised the Iranian nation’s resistance through the past decades and said the country will set conditions for talks.
In a conference in Tehran on Sunday, the chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), General Hossein Salami praised the Iranian nation’s resistance through the past decades and said the country will set conditions for the future talks.
“So far, we have halted and evil plot from the enemy, we are the ones that set conditions [for talks] and decide for our own destiny,” Salami said.
He then praised the Iranian nation’s resistance through the past decades and said “Our Revolution is a continuation of the mission of the divine prophets, the same mission that came to pure the earth,” while adding that “it is obvious that the enemies from across the world would be against such a spirit, and subsequently, make every effort to obstruct its path.”
“All evil plots from the enemy have ended in failure” he said while noting that “for instance, the policy of maximum pressure failed to prevent Iran from boosting its capabilites, including those in the defense sector.”
Elsewhere in his remarks he said “We are witnessing the decay and weakening of the enemy and it does not look like a power and empire anymore.”
“Today enemy has recognized our power and that is what we have. Right now, we are the one who set conditions for talks for the for the enemy,” he concluded.
