Head of the Palestinian Islamic Council in Lebanon Muhammad Namar Zaghmout in interview with Fars news agency said he would prioritize arming the West Bank over prosecuting the Zionists who committed war crimes on the recent war on Gaza.
Stressing the need to launch a truth-finding committee in order to bring the war criminals before justice he said "Of course, before prosecuting the Gaza war criminals, we have to arm the Palestinian nation once more. Arms must be let into the Palestinian land.”
Calling Israeli leaders criminals he stated "They are all killers, occupiers, and terrorist. They have to be put to tired and killed, or at least expatriated from out lands.”
Top Lebanese cleric asserted that it is not enough to prosecute a few of the Zionist leaders and said that they are all criminals and must be tried by the court of justice.
He stressed the need to arm the West Bank and said "This is the very right talk which must have been talked. It is a reasonable action and it is the very thing we wanted.”
He appreciated Iran as a country which expelled the Israeli ambassador long before any other country and one which has always supported Palestine.
"We want the Arab and Islamic regimes to take similar steps to those of Iran in support of the Palestinian nation and to take the country as an example rather than say that Iran, not the Zionist enemy or the American imperialism, is their enemy,” Naghmout asserted.
We consider the supporters of the Zionist regime our enemies. This is a faulty judgment to consider the enemy as friend and the friend as enemy. The wrong judgment is to see your brother as the enemy and the enemy as your brother, he said.
