In the Fourth National Health Festival of Tehran;
Saturday, 20 February 2021 (YJC) _ Barij Essence was able to achieve the highest score in the Fourth National Health Festival and consequently was honored to receive the golden award.
According to public relations of Barij Essence “the company was able to achieve the highest score in the seven indicators set by the festival and consequently was honored to receive the golden award.”
Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, Dr. Barat Ghobadian attended this ceremony.
The ceremony was held with the aim of making the level of health in the products and services of the health-oriented industries of the country more elevated. It also has the goal to identify and encourage companies and organizations working in this field and also introduce the latest achievements of 156 companies attended the event.
At the end, 79 high-ranked companies were honored by the country's health officials where Barij Essence was able to top all these companies, achieve the highest score and consequently received the golden award.
Barij Essence was given the top title of Research, Development and Innovation Index
Apart from being honored by the golden award of the ceremony, Barij Essence was given the top title of Research, Development and Innovation Index in the field of health-oriented productions and services.
The research and development unit of the company was established in (1380) 2002 with the aim of producing specialized medications and doing advanced research on medical plants and herbs while it puts its focus on producing top-notch products in terms of quality, reviving traditional medicine and also emphasizing the consumption of native plants of Iran as medicines.
This unit would consult any research hypothesis in the domain of health with university and scientific units and would employ those who are interested to work with.
Monitoring, ranking, accreditation, introducing top health-oriented organizations, presenting latest achievements of health-related units of the country and promoting the level of public awareness regarding health products were among various aims of the event in question as well.
Barij Essence Pharmaceutical co. is the first Iranian knowledge enterprise which produces herbal medicines and was established in 1371 (1992) with the aim of enhancing the health scale in the society. So far, the company has produced 160 herbal human and 14 herbal veterinary medicine. It is also among the pioneers of producers of herbal beverages and food flavorings.
