Police are responding to an "active shooter" situation at an Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota.
The incident is ongoing at a clinic at 755 Crossroads Campus Drive, and was reported just before 11 a.m.
An Allina spokesman confirmed to Bring Me the News there was an active shooter at the scene, but would make no further comment at this stage.
The Star Tribune, citing dispatch audio that has not been confirmed by an official police source, said there up to five people have been "critically wounded" and the suspect has been detained.

There have also been reports of one or more bomb threats in the area as well as reported of explosives going off. Again, there is no official confirmation on this.
Local schools have been placed on lockdown as the situation develops at the urgent care clinic.
