In his remarks upon arrival at Baghdad International Airport Chief of Iran’s Judiciary Ebrahim Raisi, warned that assassination of Qasem Soleimani not to go unanswered.
“Martyrs Soleimani and al-Muhandis belong to the Islamic Ummah and humanity,” he said while noting that “assassination of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis will never go unanswered.”
He, moreover said Those who martyred them do not want the people of Iran and Iraq to live in security,” while pointing out the fact that "These two people and their companions were heroes in the fight against terrorism and heroes in creating security for Iraq, Iran, and the region.”
Raisi has traveled to Iraq at the official invitation of Faiq Zidan, chairman of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council.
