Tehran, YJC. Senior Iranian MP says while the former EU foreign policy chief tries to reach a nuclear deal with Iran in her name, Iran will consider only its national interests.
MP and member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy
Committee Mansour Haqiqiatpour said "The [former] chief of EU foreign policy is
trying to get the final deal as a positive record into her resume. So,
Europeans and the British try to make Ashton the signatory of the final deal. But
the Islamic Republic of Iran will preserve its interest. The situation is sure
to go against the U.S. and the 5+1 members.”
Pointing to the new arrangement of the EU negotiators
following the end of the 6-month negotiation term he said that it can be seen
that the new EU parliament will favor Russia more.
There is the U.S. congress elections in which if the Zionist
lobby accumulates more votes, things will change, but if they fail, situations
will again be different, he said.
Therefore, things will be unstable after the four months and
it cannot be said what will happen, Haqiqatpour stated.
