Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Majlis Speaker says Imam Khomeini’s mode of thought has influenced the Middle East.
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani who was addressing a conference
on Palestine on Tuesday said that recent statements by Henry Kissinger about Iran’s
threat for the West are the kind of mischief that a pro-Zionist person is
capable of.
"The Islamic revolution’s doctrine is anti-imperialistic. The
Islamic revolution is only after unity within the Muslim nation and tries to
honor the Muslim,” he stated.
Larijani asserted that Iran is not seeking any puppet, but
only seeking brotherhood and awakening among the members of the Islamic nation.
"Iran’s practical helps to the jihad, Hamas, and resistance are
only meant to put an end to the Zionists influence in the Middle East, which is
itself an Islamic duty,” he asserted.
Iran is not looking for smalltime, children’s play, he
asserted. "Iran will not play on the enemy’s chessboard and it will not
consider small, tactical games.”
He pointed out that the Palestinian issue is not limited to
a certain geographical place and said that Israel’s aim is not to dislocate the
Palestinian, rather following bigger schemes.
"Some countries believe that if they come to terms with the
regime somehow, they will be able to maintain the interests of Palestine. The peace
plans offered so far rest on such a notion, while the reality of the problem is
something different,” the Majlis speaker noted.
Larijani asserted that as long is the Palestinian issue is
not settled, any other approach will be transient and wrong.
The real concern with the founders of the Zionist regime was
that they thought that since brotherhood and the Islamic nation are central to
the Muslim mode of thought, Europe would be drawn to a corner. They believe
that Muslims are deeply rooted in history and are able to rule to world. The theory
to form the Zionist regime was not just limited to expatriating the
Palestinian, but they had a mission to form a buffer in the heart of the Muslim
nations which would prevent Muslims’ rule over the West.
