According to the public growth department of Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company, Laleh Hejazi announced: “we achieve good results during the clinical trial of this medicine and it has been proven that consumption of it have directly influenced appetite of the livestock.”

“It also enhances the growth, conversion ratio, and skeletal traits development of livestock,” she added.

CEO of the Barij Essence called the product affordable while adding “today there is a tendency toward using antibiotics as a growth stimulant which in turn can have impact on livestock resistance to this substance.”

She, moreover, continued “consumption of meat and dairy products such as milk of those livestock will make human beings antibiotic-resistant as well.”

“That is the reason why in recent years tendency toward herbal medicines is growing at an unprecedented rate.”

As an Iranian entrepreneur of herbal medicines, she added “herbs and their active compounds have huge impact on preventing growth of pathogenic bacteria, enhancing digestion and absorption of nutrients, increasing appetite and boosting immune system- all the factors Biostarter is known for.”

“This veterinary medicine is formulated in a way that ensures the absorption, fecal score while strengthening the immune system in livestock,” she added.

she then put emphasis on conversion ratio and said “conversion ratio means the weight livestock will gain when it is fed on 1 kg of food. This factor shows a skyrocketing trend using Biostarer while it appears to have an enormous impact on appetite compared with control group.”

Regarding the ingredients of this medicine Laleh Hejazi noted “Zataria multiflora contains Thymol and Carvacrol, which simultaneously act as an antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, antipyretic, anticonvulsant and anti-inflammatory substance.”

She, then continued to highlighted the fact that “the active ingredients of Zataria multiflora are Mucolytics which simply facilitates the respiratory system discharge and thus enhancing the metabolic flora activity of gastrointestinal tract.”

She then continued to point some studies conducted on Linseed oil while producing Biostar and said “Linseed oil is an enriched source of Omega3”.

“Research done in this domain have proven that the consumption of fatty acids in calves contributes to the increase in their daily weight, bone growth, and feeding efficiency while decreasing their inappropriate, fecal score” she said adding that “it is also shown that using Butyric acid, Medium-chain fatty acids, and Linoleic acid will boost the livestock immune system.”

On the impact of Pennyroyal in dealing with the calf intestinal problems she explained “it can cure diarrhea and intestinal diseases, while solving the digestion difficulties. It also can strengthen their stomach and facilitate biliary excretion.”

She also hinted its similar mechanism to antibiotic by saying that “it has antibacterial features and act as a powerful antiparasitic substance.”

 At the end of her remarks she highlighted the features of Rosemary and said “Rosemary is one of best herbs regarding the amount of antioxidants it contains,” she said while adding the fact that it can contribute positive effect when it comes to “antimicrobial effect, liver protection, colic pain, convulsant, or even cough.”
