Tuesday, 12 January 2021(YJC)_Iranian defense minister said the country is to enhance the quality of its strategic defense equipment.
Iranian defense minister, Gen. Amir Hatami announced on Tuesday that the country is to enhance the quality of its strategic defense equipment.
“The imposed war, cruel sanctions, and assassination of Iranian scientists are just a number of tools villain powers take to achieve their sinister goals of creating a barrier against the growth of the Islamic Revolution in the region and the world, Brigadier General Amir Hatami said.
He then went on to say “all plots and conspiracies of the enemies against the Islamic Republic have failed.”
While noting that “their main goal is to weaken Iran through sanctions and to reduce its missile programs” he added “military authority and defense power in the Islamic Republic are two important features due to the geopolitical and strategic position of Iran; therefore, the country's military power in the region must be increased day by day.”
“We increase the deterrent power of the country through improving the quality of our strategic defense equipment, speeding up the Time to Market (TTM) of the products and reducing the production costs” Hatami noted.
At the end of his remarks he hailed the role of Martyr General Soleimani in maintaining the security of the region and added “the enemies sought to dominate the region through creating ISIL terrorists but all their efforts were in vain as Martyr Soleimani, thwarted their sinister plots by making the region united.”
