Tehran, YJC. Two new radar systems were unveiled with Khatam ol-Anbiya Air Defense Base Commander Farzad Esmaili.

Keyhan and Arash are Iran’s two new radar systems and to-be parts of the country’s air defense system.

Esmaili who was introducing the radars said "Keyhan is a two-dimensional radar with the ability to calculate distance, angle, direction, and the radial velocity of the target. It is also able to detect and follow flying objects such as common airplanes, bombers, and logistic aircrafts.”

Pointing to Arash radar system he said "The radar is a two-dimensional solid-state which covers 360 degrees and detects objects flying over 100 thousand feet high.”
