Saturday, 07 November 2020 (YJC)_ Iranian President called on the new US administration to return to international laws.
On his remarks at the National Coronavirus Combat and Prevention Headquarters Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, slammed US policies and called on the US administration-to-be to return to international laws.
“Those who imposed sanctions on Iran should be aware that that they have taken wrong path and would not achieve their goals in any way” he said.
He lashed out at current US policies and called on the new US administration to return to its commitments within the framework of JCPOA and international laws and regulations.
Afterward, he referred to the current pandemic and added, “it has been around eight months that people of the country are in struggle with the pandemic.”
He then emphasized “we hope that with the cooperation of each other and within the framework of the directives approved by the National Coronavirus Combat and Prevention Headquarters, we will overcome the current problem.”
Elsewhere in his remarks he pointed out how people of the country have been tackled with the economic terrorism imposed over the past three years and said “they showed significant resistance.”
