Tehran, YJC. IRGC official reiterates the origins of the drone blown down above Iran’s nuclear facilities announced last night.
IRGC Aerospace Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh said on Monday morning
that the spy drone downed by his forces the previous day has belonged to Israel.
He said that the unmanned aviation vehicle is one of the Hermes
type and capable of flying 1600 km at a time.
Hajizadeh asserted that experts are dismantling the remnants
of the drone and trying to restore as much information from them as they can.
Iran’s Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan had on a TV interview on Sunday evening
said regarding the drone, "The mere fact that it was found around Natanz
reveals its mission. Generally, both Israelis and Americans would like to
define a goal for themselves so that they would always be able to say they have
been able to enter any part of the country’s aerospace just as they had decided
to.”
