Tehran, YJC. Rouhani has stressed Iran’s international relations in his visit to Ardabil.
The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani went on a trip to
Ardabil province on Wednesday.
After meeting the public around the noon, Rouhani attended a
meeting with the officials of the province in the afternoon.
Lack of trust was a serious problem in the recent years, he
noted, adding, "Our efforts in this year have gone into paving the grounds for
economy with peace.”
Currently we are seeking constructive relations with the
world and are pretty intent upon that, he said.
The president added "Relations with the world are not only
the will of the government, but a decision by the state.”
He also said "The US government should put aside its morale
of enmity.”
He pointed to Iran’s nuclear talks and said "We are trying
to lift many of the existing sanctions at the same time as we preserve the
country’s nuclear rights.”
In regard to inflation, Rouhani said that after consultations
with experts, the government said it would reduce inflation rate to 35 percent.
However, he added that the government did more and brought inflation rate lower
to 34 percent, IRNA reports.
ˈAnd this year we promised to slash the inflation rate to 25 percent by the
year-end and I announced this morning that inflation rate will be reduced to
less than 20 percent this year,ˈ Rouhani said.
ˈI want to underline that the government is committed to its promises to bring
inflation under controlˈ
He vowed to do his best to bring about single-digit inflation rate by March
2017.
