Tehran, YJC. Rouhani says Iran is seeking a win-win deal on its nuclear program and it will bring nothing else into the talks.
IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano met the Iranian president in Tehran on sunday to discuss Iran's nuclear program.
In this meeting Hassan Rouhani stated that Iran is determined in seaking a deal with the West on its nuclear program and that the country will demand nothing more than its right to uranium enrichment and apeaceful nuclear energy.
He furtehr maintained that Iran has been cooperating with the IAEA in order to clarify its nuclear activities, adding "The IAEA will have to play an active part in resolving concerns over the Iranian nuclear program."
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has always favored clear technical and legal cooperation with the IAEA," he said, adding "Following the path, Iran needs to develop new technologies including the nuclear one and, following the public decision and the rule of the Majlis, it will pursue its way to the peaceful nuclear energy in electricity, medicine, agriculture, and industries."
Rejecting the possibility of introducing non-nuclear concerns in the nuclear negotiations he said "Iran's missile power is no way and at no level subject to negotiations."
He expressed hope that a win-win deal would benefit the parties and bring peace and stability to the region.
