Farsi learners at Saadi double in number

Tehran, YJC. Saadi foundation is welcoming more and more people interested in Farsi.

Foreign students of Farsi from 35 countries attended the Farsi Knowledge Boost Course, a seminar held in the Saadi foundation on Thursday evening.

Head of the foundation Qolamali Haddad Adel speaking to the audience said "This year we managed to double the number of the students.”

Pointing out that the course was being launched by the Saadi foundation he said "This course used to be held by the Islamic Communications Culture Organization. But starting last year, the Saadi foundation adopted the responsibility.

Stressing the global need for peace, Adel stated "For other nations to learn Farsi will bring them closer to our nation.”

The course is held with 200 Farsi students and professors from around the world.

131 women and 73 men have been attending the course starting August 2.
