Sunday, 20 September 2020 (YJC)_ Iran's Health Ministry Spokeswoman reported on Saturday that around 2900 new cases infected with Covid-19 has been reported.
According to Iran's Health Ministry Spokesman Sima Sadat Lari daily briefing on Saturday night, 2,845 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 419,043.
Moreover, she hinted that some 166 more Iranians have died from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours.
“The country's total COVID-19 death toll mounted to 24,118” the health ministry spokeswoman said.
Some 2,845 new cases of infection with the COVID-19 were found over the past 24 hours, some 1,149 of whom have been hospitalized, Lari said.
She also mentioned that a total of 419,043 Iranians infected with the COVID-19, and some 357,632 of whom have recovered.
3,8693 of the patients are in critical conditions and are being treated in intensive care units, she added.
Lari added that 3,719,210 coronavirus tests have been carried out in Iran.
