Tehran, YJC. Bilateral talks between Iran and the US have just begun.
Iran and the US are starting a new
round of talks on the former’s nuclear program.
Beginning at 10:00 Geneva time, the
foreign ministries of the two countries intend to resolve their mutual
concerns, Mehr news agency reports.
Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht
Ravanchi, Deputy Foreign Ministers of Iran, and William Burns and Wendy Sherman
from the US Department of State join the talks.
Nuclear and legal experts from both
sides will also attend the meeting.
The Iran-P5+1 nuclear negotiations
reached their 6-month deadline recently but were extended for another 4 months
as agreed by the sides.
The uranium enrichment level, Arak
and Fordo facilities, and the agreement term are among the major points to be
discussed.
