Tehran, YJC. Deputy Oil Minister says Iran has changed from an importer to an exporter of gas oil.
The Deputy Oil Minister of Iran said that the country has
exported its first gas oil load to Afghanistan.

Company said that as the delivery of gas to power plants has been optimized
there is less need for gas oil for domestic consumption, "Therefore, the surplus
amount of gas oil produced in oil refineries will be exported abroad.”
Pointing out that Iran has held talks with a number of
neighbor countries for deal in gas oil Abbas Kazemi stated "As a contract
asserted, Iran exported its first gas oil load to Afghanistan.”
Further adding that the oil company is distributing Euro 4
gas oil to big cities he said "Right now something between 24 and 25 million
liters of Euro 4 gasoil is being distributed in Tehran, Arak, Mashhad, and
Karaj daily.”
Iran’s refineries have produced 2.275 billion liters of
gas oil so far this year, Mehr News Agency reports.
