Tuesday, 01 September 2020 _Australia's Caleb Ewan produced a brilliant sprint finish to win stage three of the Tour de France, as Julian Alaphilippe held on to the yellow jersey.
The Australian timed his sprint to perfection, to snatch the victory from Irishman Sam Bennett, although both of them clocked 5 hours 17 minutes and 42 seconds.
Giacomo Nizzolo of Italy finished 3rd. Meanwhile in the general classification, Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe retained his yellow jersey and stayed at the top, followed by Britain's Adam Yates and Marc Hirschi of Switzerland.
