Tehran, YJC. A conference has been held Monday evening in Felestin Cinema where the anti-Iranian film Argo was discussed.

The Hoax of Hollywood was the name of the conference where the French lawyer Isabelle Coutant-Peyre also took part as Iran’s legal representative in filing a suit against not only Ben Afleck and Grant Heslov, but Hollywood in general for its unpleasant portraits of Iran in the past years.

Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance speaking in the conference said "From the time of the Pharaohs they called for magicians to turn ropes into snakes. The Zionist use cinema today.”

Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini continued "Every Iranian, wherever around the world, reacts and is willing to defend Iran when he sees a false representation of the Islamic Iran.”

"Hollywood” he added "has not only pursued Irano-phobia but anti-Islamism as well, of which the production of films such as Argo is a proof.”

Hosseini believed that Argo is not only a movie, but it shows a big reaction and a steady trend which "Requires that we take each other by the hand and resist it. They use motion pictures to realize their goals.”
