Tuesday, 11 August 2020 (YJC)_Iran's Chief of Staff of Presidential urges that the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) must not follow the United States as the presence of the country in the region is illegitimate and brings insecurity and instability.
On Tuesday, in reaction to the statement of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council that highlights the extension in the arms embargo on Iran, Iran's Chief of Staff of Presidential, Mahmoud Vaezi, wrote on his Twitter account “the PGCC must not follow the United States as the presence of the country in the region is against the law and makes the country insecure and in danger”.
He, moreover, noted that maintaining security and regional states’ interests is not achievable without regional trust-building and collaboration.
While underscoring the recent measure and pointing it will create distrust, he mentions the country will suffer from the austere consequences if the organization follows US guideline.
