Guardiola's men dominated the possession in the first 45 minutes and took the lead in the last minute of the half when David Luiz’s mistake put Raheem Sterling through and he fired the ball past Arsenal’s keeper.
The Citizens then doubled their advantage in the 51st minute thanks to Kevin De Bruyne who scored calmly from the spot.
Substitute Phil Foden scored Man City’s third on the rebound in the dying moments of the game to wrap-up a comfortable win for Guardiola’s men.
The victory means that Man City remain second in the Premier League table with 60 points while Arsenal are 9th with the possibility of falling down to 11th.
