Tehran, YJC. Haqiqatpour has claimed that those who interrupted a Larijani speech in Qom are the ones who attacked the UK Embassy in Tehran.

Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majlis in reaction to recent UK damage claim said "There is no damage to be paid by the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UK. Rather, it is the UK which has to apologize to the nation for the political, economic, and psychological damage it has done to them. The origin for many regional wars, nonetheless, such as the one in Iraq is the UK. So the country’s leaders have to apologize to the nations of Iraq, Syria, and Levant.”

Mansour Haqiqatpour asserted "If there are relations to grow between Iran and the UK, leaders of UK have to take professional steps to conduct diplomatic relations with Iran. In other words, they must avoid being inquisitive about Iran’s domestic affairs and avoid contact with the enemies of the Islamic Republic; else the Iranian nation will give them a harsh response.”

He further stated "Those who attacked the UK Embassy are the very identified ones who created the Qom case,” stressing that the Iranian judiciary system has to take action against the agents that organized an attack on UK embassy in 2011.

Last year a group of radicals had interrupted Larijani as the Majlis Speaker was about to deliver a speech in Qom.
