TEHRAN, YJC. IRI Army Commander has said that the armed forces will introduce a new build of the Zolfaghar(zolfaqaar) tank next Iranian calendar year.
Brigadier General Ahmadreza Pourdastan said that as threats
change face each day, the Army also creates new capacities in accordance to them.
"Therefore,” he added "last month Zolfaghar tanks underwent some developments.”
The Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army stated "Fire
control and stabilizing systems are installed on Zolfaghar. In line with the
new threats, next year [Iranian calendar, starting March 21] we will present to
the Iranian nation a more recent version of the tank.”
