Tehran, YJC. IRGC commander says Iran is completely safe at borders and no one can think of an attack against it.
"Americans encircled our country in order to transgress our
borders. But as they saw that our people and our armed forces were 100 percent
ready in supporting the guardian jurist and the holy state of the Islamic
Republic of Iran, they were disappointed,” exclaimed Mohammad Ali Jafari,
commander of the IRGC.
"The current safety of the country is a result of the holy
defense,” he said, adding "Today many countries consider Iran as a safe island
within an unsafe area. It is because in the 8 years of the holy defense and the
eight months of sedition we didn’t let them make our country unstable.”
Asserting that Iran is completely safe, leaving no place for
foreigners to think of military attack, Jafari stated "Americans attacked
Afghanistan and then Iraq with the excuse of September 11. They intended to
encircle the country so that they may have had the chance to attack Iran as
well.”
