Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Human Rights chief says human rights reports on Iran hold offensive nature.
Director of Iran’s Human Rights Staff speaking to reporters
on Saturday pointed to the UN special rapporteur Ahmed Shaheed’s reports on Iran
and said "This guy is the fourth human rights repporteur on Iran and he will
not be the last either. The reports given on Iran are offensive. Whenever they
decide to do something against us they bring up human rights.”
He added "Our judiciary system is one with our national
identity. Those who cannot get in tune bring up the human rights issue.”
He added "Ahmed Shaheed is not qualified as a rapporteur;
neither are his reports valid.”
