TEHRAN, Nov 24_Every year, with the help of ladies from over 80 countries, the UN Women’s Guild organizes an international charity bazaar in Vienna that offers visitors an opportunity to become familiar with a wide range of cultures and traditions from all over the globe.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club(YJC)_“The UNWG, made up of the UN’s women staff or spouses of staff uses the money raised in the International Charity Bazaar to financially support charities in Austria and across the developing world.”
Last year more than 135 thousand Euros were raised to support children in need in 21 countries.
Here ladies who spend their working days in various UN positions have decided to stand behind stalls to give visitors a taste of their national art, culture and cuisine.
