TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club(YJC) - Speaking in a UNSC special meeting addressing Syria’s issues, Bashar al-Jafari said that 4300 European terrorists are fighting against the Syrian Government, out of which 2,838 are from Belgium, UK, France, and Germany.
“The first terrorist we identified in Syria was a Belgian who targeted people in Homs” Jafari added.
He pointed also to Russian and Syrian air forces and stressed that they never civilians, but hit the terrorist strongholds in the Arab country.
The Syrian envoy also appreciated Iran, Russia, and Kazakhstan’s representatives for their cooperation in Syria’s late achievements, referring to Astana talks held in Kazakhstan which addressing the Syrian crisis.
Elsewhere in his speech, Bashar Jafari referred to the recent attacks on Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq, reminding that the role of the Israeli regime is clear in engineering terrorism in the attacks.
Keeping patience, he said, Syria adopted political solution for its crisis, yet the terrorist groups and their supporters chose military solution, targeting civilians.
