TEHRAN, August 27- Head of Iran's Civil Defense Organization Brigadier General Gholam Reza Jalali dismissed the US officials' claims about successful cyber infiltration into the country's infrastructural systems, saying that the Americans have failed to grasp the situation in Iran.

Official: US Bluffing about Cyber Infiltration into Iran's InfrastructureTEHRAN,Young Journalists Club(YJC)_The US claim about its cyber infiltration into Iran's infrastructural systems is a bluff," General Jalali said in Tehran on Monday.

He noted that enemies do not have a correct understanding of Iran's situation, and said, "It is necessary for the Americans to have a serious review in their analysis on Iran."

General Jalali said that today Iran and the US are in conflict in 5 sensitive and strategic political, military, economic, security and cyber layers, and added, "As an informed person I say that Iran has the superior hand in all these layers."

Iranian Minister of Information and Communications Technology Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi revealed in May that Tehran had developed an indigenous firewall securing its sensitive industrial facilities against Stuxnet, a cyber-weapon widely believed to be made by the US and Israel and used in the past to target the Islamic Republic’s nuclear energy program.

The firewall, he said, had been designed and developed by young Iranian scientists, and successfully tested on industrial automation systems.

The firewall “practically neutralizes industrial [acts of] sabotage, such as (those potentially launched by) Stuxnet, in electrical grids and suchlike,” he wrote, adding, “By relying on (our) youths, we will turn threats into opportunities.”
