TEHRAN, August 21 - The first Quran school for hearing-impaired girls and women was inaugurated in Egypt’s Minya governorate.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to news-sinaa website, the Awqaf department of the province has established the school in a mosque in the city of Minya, the capital of the governorate.
It offers courses and lessons on memorization and interpretation of the Quran, religious teachings, Seerah Nabawi, and prayers.
According to Sheikh Salama Abdul Razzaq, representative of the country’s Awqaf Ministry in the governorate, it is the first such school for teaching Quranic and religious teachings to the hearing-impaired in Egypt.
