Members of the Chamber of Commerce of the United Arab Emirates who were on a trip to Tehran, visited the President of Iran’s Central Bank Valiollah Seif on Monday, the Central Bank announced, according to Mehr News Agency.
During their meeting, Seif thanked his Emirati guests, the UAE Central Bank head in particular, for friendly cooperation. He expressed optimism that circumstances are favorable to engage in more robust relations in trade and banking, asserting "The officials on both sides are intent upon strengthening ties.”
The UAE officials also pointing to the Iran-UAE business council which was founded during their current tirp expressed hope that the existing obstacles would be soon lifted and that investors on both sides would find the chance to pursue their interests.
