South Korea's chief negotiator to the six-way talks aimed at ending North Korea's nuclear program left for Washington Sunday for discussions with his American counterpart on the resumption of the long-stalled negotiations and other issues, Seoul's foreign ministry said.
Hwang Joon-kook, special representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs, is slated to hold a meeting Monday with Glyn Davies, the U.S. special representative for North Korea policy, the ministry said.
