TEHRAN, Jul 28 - Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said the islamic Repunlic seeks boosting security in the region.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - During a meeting with the visiting Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, here in Tehran, Larijani said, “We believe that Oman is playing a positive role in regional situation since it played a significant role in Iran’s nuclear issue.”
He noted security would be established by regional countries, warning that meddling of non-regional would lead to unpredictable dangers.
Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, for his part, referred to Iran-Oman cooperation, and said, “Our path is one single path and our goal is stability and sustainable security in the region. It eases our mind that Iranians are rational people. We believe that they have had a key role in regional security.”
