Trump rape accuser responds to Mueller hearing: 'I wish to God' accusations got congressional hearingsTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -The tweet came as Mueller was wrapping up his highly anticipated congressional testimony, during which he reiterated his office's conclusions on alleged Russian election meddling and possible obstruction of justice from Trump.

Carroll’s allegations surfaced in June in an excerpt from her book “What Do We Need Men For?” in which she claims Trump raped her in the mid-1990s in a store in New York. Two friends confirmed to New York magazine that Carroll had told them about the alleged incident at the time.

Trump denied the allegation and claimed never to have met Carroll despite a photo of the two of them that ran in the magazine.

He told The Hill that Carroll was “not my type.”

Over a dozen women have accused Trump of sexual assault or harassment, all of which he has denied.
