TEHRAN, Jul 9 - The UK’s ambassador to the US was promptly disinvited to a dinner with Donald Trump after the leak of memos in which he called the president’s administration “inept”.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Sir Kim Darroch was frozen out of the event at the US Treasury on Monday night after Mr Trump tweeted he would “no longer deal with” the British envoy.
The dinner was hosted by Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin in honour of Qatar’s emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, who is visiting Washington this week.
