Tehran, YJC. Russian treasury official has said his country is willing to tap into Iran’s experience in dealing with economic sanctions.
Russia’s Federal Treasury Deputy in Banking Affairs at a
meeting with Iran’s ambassador to Russia said that his country could use some
of Iran’s experience in coping with Western sanctions.
Roman Artyukhin and Mehdi Sanai who were meeting in Moscow
discussed the two countries’ need to strengthen their economic ties.
The two specifically stressed the urge to sign undergoing
contracts on insurance and stock.
Promising Iran that the papers so prepared will be put
through the legal process as soon as possible, Artyukhin pointed to Western
sanctions against Iran and his country and pointed to the need to share
experience in regard to sanctions.
