Tehran, YJC. Specialist talks about best ways to improve one’s health in spring time.
Qolamreza Kurd Afshari, traditional medicine specialist,
said "In spring time people are usually taken by emotional upsurge and anger. Smelling
pleasant aroma is recommended to cope with that.”
"Light exercise is recommended for spring time. Working out
hard is not recommended because it causes heat, sets fluids in motion, and
leads to emaciation,” he said.
Afshari asserted "On the other hand workouts that do not
consume wastes are not considered at all. So it would be better if in the
spring, exercises are slow but prolonged, so that they would lead rather to the
purgation of waste material than overheat.”
He further provided comments on how to take showers in
spring and said "Toward the end of spring, heat gains the upper hand over cold,
which increases the body’s need for more perspiration. So bathing on a daily
basis is recommended.”
"Of course there is harm in taking showers with empty
stomach when you are very hungry or immediately after meals when you are full,”
he added.
