Tehran, YJC. President says Iran is in a politically complicated region and what it needs is not words but solutions to afflicting problems.
"Great
powers have plans not only for us, but for their neighbors as well. The
solution to political problems is not slogans, we need to find the way out,”
asserted president Rouhani among university students on Sunday.
He added
"My experience which I’ve had from the days of the Islamic uprising and in
different offices tells me that extremism has always hurt us; and there is no
difference between the right and the left wing in that.”
The
president stated "What I have made out is that the contrastive approach to the
world cannot be a successful measure. The incumbent administration’s policy is
to have constructive cooperation. No sooner than we say we want to cooperate with
the world there are some who say we want to make a deal with the world. Shall we
be brandishing our dagger at the world?”
"Is
it possible for a country to say it does not need scientific cooperation with
the world,” Rouhani required and stated "Why do they accuse any professor of
espionage who talks with a foreigner? We have to help these professors. They are
one of our means of communication with the world.”
"There
was someone speaking at a meeting who was saying that we have to do something
so that English is taught in no scientific environment. I do not know what that
means,” the president stated.
