TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Addressing the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia, Pashinyan said the Eurasian Economic Union has signed free trade zone agreement with Iran, adding that Armenia is able to a play major role in this regard.
He noted that Iran, Georgia and Armenia's participation in the Eurasian Economic Union will be useful and will help develop all three states, IRNA reported.
He went on to say that Armenia is ready for reinforcing cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and at the same time is developing its relations with the European Union.
Yerevan believes that convergence and cooperation between Eurasian countries and Europe and convergence of the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union are undeniable, he said.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Armenian Prime Minister invited foreign investors to visit Armenia and promised them good opportunities for investment.
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum started work with the participation of 140 countries.
