TEHRAN, Jun 6 -Portugal have reached the final of the maiden UEFA Nations League with a 3-1 win over Switzerland on home soil thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -Ronaldo opened the scoring in Porto with a fizzing free-kick midway through the 1st-half. But Ricardo Rodriguez drew the Swiss level from the penalty spot after a VAR review.
Ronaldo then averted a looming extra-time with a clinical finish 2 minutes from time. The Portuguese star capped off a brilliant display with a curling shot inside the area for his 3rd, 102 seconds later.
