TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Selective guests from Western nations have gathered for holding the 67th Bilderberg Meeting behind closed doors in a secretive conclave at a Swiss lakeside resort cloaked in utmost secrecy.
The Bilderberg Group, established in 1954, is an invitation-only community which holds annual meetings with approximately 140 guests attending. It is comprised of many wealthy and influential people in the fields of politics, banking, business, the military, and news media.
The group defines the conference as “a forum for informal discussions about major issues facing the world. The meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor any other participant may be revealed.”
Although the names of attendees and the agenda for conference are available on their website, the group holds its meetings in private and there are no press releases about them, which has raised suspicions about the Bilderbergers.
