TEHRAN, May 29 - Iran’s parliamentary delegation held talks in Norway to develop bilateral ties including parliamentary cooperation.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iran’s envoy to Norway Mohammad Hassan Habibollah Zadeh said that the parliamentary delegation discussed such issues as terrorism and US role in creating it as well as US unilaterally withdrawal of Iran’s international nuclear deal.
The Iranian delegation blamed Europe for its double standard approach to sending medicines to Iran, as one of the delegation members said that hindering medicine entrance to Iran is the real proof of the gradual death of Iranian patients with cancer and rare disease.
Also Saudi regime’s war on Yemen was discussed and Europe was criticized for its selling arms to the Saudi regime for slaughtering Yemenis.
Heshmatollah Falahat Pishe, Iranian Parliament’s head of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, still criticized Europeans weak position toward Iran nuclear deal - known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
He warned that such a weak position would make Europe more susceptible to such threats as terrorism as well as human and medicine smuggling.
Falahatpishe denounced US exit of JCPOA as disrespect to international law, yet appreciated Norway’s support for the nuclear deal and opposing unilateral sanctions imposed on Iran.
He pointed out to the background of good cooperation between Iran and Norway, and hoped that the bilateral ties of the two countries expanded more than ever before.
The Norwegian side also on its part pointed out to the country’s companies and their eagerness to take part in Iran’s markets specially in fishery and clean energies areas, hoping that financial channels are created as soon as possible to keep Norway-Iran trade ties maintained.
Despite having deep relationships with US, the Norwegian side expressed its dissatisfaction with US withdrawal of Iran nuclear deal as well as imposing sanctions against Iran.
The Norwegian representatives also stressed developing cooperation and bilateral ties with Iran.
