Tehran, YJC. Commander says Army is to launch a series of exercises in cooperation with the IRGC this year.
Major General Ataollah Salehi said that his forces will be taking part in joint
drills with the IRGC.
The
Army Commander who was speaking to Tasnim news agency said "We will have
diverse exercise programs this year, one of which will be launched in joint.”
Asked
about his opinion about a statement by the P5+1 members who in their nuclear talks
with Iran had demanded the country to limit its missile range, he said "No
country deals on its defense power and deterrence. The nuclear negotiation team
are well aware of all issues.”
Salehi
further asserted "Our operations have never limited nor will they ever be. In the
same manner that we have increased our defense power and deterrence, from now
on also we will produce new equipments by relying on our domestic capabilities.”
